There are plenty of TV shows and TV series featuring charming psychotherapists and “mind gurus” who appear to always know what they’re doing. And then there are a lot of books on the subject, and tons of stories to impress anyone ready to listen (or read).

In the first article in this mini-series about becoming a psychotherapist we analyzed a few of the positive and motivating aspects of this field, and from that perspective it all looked pretty tempting. Work is always interesting, flexible schedule, constant opportunities to learn and grow and so on and so forth.
